drutter_masthead_facebook_12days

Hi guys! It’s Tiffany! I’m so excited to share with you my latest creation. My “Merry” holiday globe pillow. I had all of my supplies on hand, since I’ve been wanting to do something like this for my entryway for a while now!!

Supplies needed:

Hello December cutting files

-Pillow

– Pillow cover. I used this tutorial. I’m no seamstress, so it was REALLY easy 😉

– Iron-on Vinyl

-Digital cutting machine. I used my cricut + SCAL

Step 1. Using my cricut + SCAL, I designed the cut I wanted to do. I decided to make my cut about 12″ x 12″.  Don’t forget, when you are using Iron-on vinyl, be sure to flip your image, otherwise, when you iron your image on it will be backwards. Especially if you are using text.

1

Step 2. Place your vinyl shiny side down, and vinyl side up. Check the instructions for your cutting depths to make sure you don’t cut all the way through the vinyl+ the backing.

Step 3.  Weed or peel off the excess vinyl.

2

Step 4. Take your pillowcase, iron, and decal and place on the pillowcase. Follow the instructions on your vinyl to iron on.

3

Step 5.  Peel off the plastic sticky backing from your vinyl.

Step 6.  Put your super cute new pillow case on your pillow and place in the perfect place in your house for some extra holiday CHEER!! Enjoy!!
