Since I was a young girl, creativity has been my language—the way I express myself, process the world, and connect with others.
Whether through painting, playing the piano and guitar, decorating my home, or designing brands, artistic expression has always been at the core of who I am. It’s what makes me feel most like myself.
I’ve been a surface print and graphic designer since 1999, working on everything from hand-painted nursery frames to scrapbook papers, branding for coaches and small businesses, and now, my 20th fabric line. Each project has brought unique opportunities to collaborate with amazing people and, most importantly, has allowed me to make a living doing what I love—creating.
A New Chapter in Creativity
Last year marked a major life transition: I turned 50, and my youngest child left for college. It was a bittersweet moment, but it also signified the beginning of something new. With this shift, I’ve felt a renewed energy to explore creativity on my own terms.
In 2025, I’m embracing artistic exploration in a way I never have before. I’m taking oil painting classes, dedicating more time to drawing, and allowing myself the space to create simply for the joy of it. This year is about investing in inspiration, giving myself permission to play, and deepening my artistic practice without the pressure of productivity.
What Inspires Me
Much of my inspiration comes from travel, where I find beauty in the details—tiles, textures, and patterns that later weave their way into my fabric collections. Nature, vintage textiles, and everyday moments also play a huge role in sparking ideas. This year, I’ve put together a moodboard of themes, colors, and elements that are resonating with me most for 2025:

- Rich, layered textures that tell a story
- Organic, hand-drawn patterns that feel personal
- Deep, moody color palettes with pops of vibrancy
- European architecture and antique details
- A balance between structure and artistic freedom

Favorite Creative Resources
Over the years, I’ve shared resources to help others build their own creative businesses and strengthen their branding. Here are a few of my most helpful ones:
⦿ Canva Hacks & Shortcuts – Make designing easier and faster.
⦿ Brand In A Box – Everything you need for a professional, polished brand.
⦿ Coaching Starter Pack – Create a branded freebie, presentation deck, and email header to attract the right audience.
⦿ Instagram Template Set – Social media success starts with strong visuals!
As I step into 2025, my goal is to encourage not only myself but also those in my community to make space for creativity—to explore, to experiment, and to design with passion. Whether you’re a coach, designer, or entrepreneur, I hope you’ll join me in making this year one of inspiration and expression.
