Where do you find inspiration?
Me, I am a visual learner. I gather inspiration and draw out the simple things that make an image, a post, or a worksheet beautiful. How can I create something even more beautiful from these elements?
Moodboards are an easy way to combine what you love and get inspired by. If you have a hard time when it comes to curating your social media feed or uncovering your brand’s direction, moodboards can be a great starting point!
Spend 10 or 15 minutes seeking out cohesive content! Scroll through your Pinterest feed looking for color schemes, static images, quotes, and more that catch your eye. Explore resources like Unsplash and Creative Market that provide images and basic design assets. This will open your mind to unique combinations and layouts.
Canva provides a free, user-friendly platform for creating, uploading and organizing inspiration. I do a large amount of my clients’ design work in Canva because it enables collaborative design in a simple way.
